Thank you for contacting the Green oak Township Historical Society (GOTHS) for help with your research problem.

The GOTHS does provide the service of conducting extensive research requests. The society also has an archive facility, which you can visit if you care to conduct research on your own.

The Board of Directors has put the following rules in place for answering research requests:

there is a $15.00 per hour fee with one hour payable in advance. When submitting a research request, please include the advance. All research requests need to specify a limit to the amount of time you would like to have the Society conduct research for you. This must be specified before the Society can begin to process you request.

Include all the information you have when making a research request. Information such as time period and location can narrow the area of search and will greatly speed up our response back to you.

Extensive copy requests may require additional funds.

A #10 self-addressed stamped envelope must accompany each request.
